Downy mildew of the Rose (Peronospora Sparsa)

It forms initially yellowish and translucent spots which then extend into large brown areas, with a rather varied symptomatology. The optimal temperatures for development are around 18 ° C with high humidity, close to 100% and wet foliage for at least 3 hours.
It affects all the green parts of the plant, both young vegetation and less herbaceous tissues.

The preventive treatments are copper-based and those performed for scab can be valid, while for the curatives both broad-spectrum fungicides (Dodine) up to triazoles, cupric and Fosetyl aluminum can be used. In the rose, it appears above all in summer, after the first flowering, in hot, muggy places with little ventilation.
