Full, dark cherry red flowers stand out against light green foliage.
This fascinating hybrid of Gallica was chosen to commemorate the end of the works on the archaeological excavations of the Palatine Hill in Rome in 2019. For this artistic and botanical reason, this hybrid was created between two ancient roses, probably already known in Roman times: the “Francofurtana” and the “Tuscany Superb” rose.
