Rose aphids (Macrosiphum Rosae)

They appear in spring , on young shoots: they feed on the elaborate sap of the plant by pricking the soft tissues with a stiletto. They are rapidly infested and the damage produced is mostly aesthetic , with deformations of the apical tissues and with the emission of a sticky sugary substance as a waste of their metabolism.
This can attract other insects such as ants and wasps and be the optimal substrate for the formation of the smoke. The aphid can also be a vector of virosis if there are sick plants nearby.

Preventive actions : the best intervention to contain the development of aphids is the preventive use of a systemic product (Imidacloprid) which allows the plants to remain protected for a long time. This product is also useful against Tentredini.

Curative actions : against aphids you can use products based on natural pyrethrum, which synthetic pyrethrum (deltamethrin) also defined as killing. Using natural, photolabile pyrethrins, which are rapidly degraded by the environment, it is possible to allow antagonistic insects (Ladybird, Crisope, Diptera hoverfly, etc.) to intervene, controlling the aphid population with minimal impact.
